10 August 2026,UJIRE: The School celebrated ‘Aatidonji Day’ on 10 August 2026, honoring the rich culture, heritage, and traditions of Tulu Nadu.

The programme was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Ravish Padumale, lecturer at SDM Technical College, Ujire. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Padumale shared insights into the significance of the month of Aati, the story of Aati Kalenja, and the rituals of Aati Amavasya.
“This day reminds us of the hard work and resilience of our ancestors in earning a living,” said Dr. Ravish Padumale.

The campus was decorated using traditional artwork.
Students showcased Tulu culture through songs, dances, dramas, proverbs, and recitations of Sandhi and Paddana.Displays featured authentic Tulu delicacies, traditional desi games, and informative posters on coastal Karnataka’s history.
