30 July 2026, UJIRE — An “HPV Vaccine Awareness Program” was held on 30 July 2026 at School’s Multi-Disciplinery Hall aimed at raising awareness among female students and their parents about cervical cancer prevention, general healthcare, and the vital role of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine.
Smt. Ammi A., a health staff member from the Block Health Division of the Health Department, attended as the resource person. She detailed the necessity of administering the vaccine to young girls, reassured participants on vaccine safety, and provided guidance on preventing cervical cancer. Smt. Ammi also conducted an interactive Q&A session, addressing the medical concerns of both parents and students.Delivering the presidential address, Principal Mr. Manamohan Naik K.G. emphasized the importance of such initiatives, stating that proactive health awareness programs are essential for safeguarding the future health of female students.
