School hosted an enriching workshop titled “The Skill of Expression” on 23rd August 2025. The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Rajatha (B.A., M.L.I.Sc., Ph.D.), who guided students through various aspects of effective writing and creative communication. The training covered essential topics such as how to write reports and articles, preparation of informative classroom notice boards, and the techniques for writing compelling book reviews. Dr. Rajatha also provided insights into the proper formats for each type of written work, helping teachers develop strong foundational skills to teach their students. In addition to the main training; Dr. Rajatha held a special interactive session with the best library users of the school. During this session, she guided students on how to choose and read books effectively, encouraging them to develop strong reading habits and make the most of the school library resources.

This initiative by SDM English Medium School aimed to enhance students’ proficiency in expressing their ideas clearly and confidently through the guidance of their teachers. Principal and staff expressed their gratitude for the successful event and encouraged attendees to implement the valuable lessons learned in their academic pursuits.
