Ujire, October 25 2025– The pursuit of ancient wisdom was celebrated as students from across Belthangady taluk participated in the taluk-level Bhagavad Gita competition, hosted at SDM Degree College, Ujire. The prestigious event was jointly organized by the Sri Sondha SwarnaValli Mahasamsthana and the Sanskrit Department of SDM Degree College.
Students Qualify for District-Level
The students showcased their mastery across three major categories, securing second place in every event:
Quiz Competition: Master Ninad (9th standard) and Master Anirudh (10th standard) partnered to secure the second position.
Speech Competition:
• In Senior Section, Master Siddhanth (9th standard) earned second place.
• In Junior Section, Miss Ganapriya (7th standard) secured second place.
Geeta Recitation Competition: Miss Saanvi (8th standard) was awarded second place for her flawless recitation.
These outstanding students have now been selected to advance and compete in the forthcoming district-level competition, representing the Belthangady taluk.
District Level:
