Tapovana, Thokur, July 9, 2025 — The Dr M Ramanna Shetty Memorial English Medium High School hosted the Science Project – Paper Presentation Competition ‘, attracting participation from various regional schools. This event was part of the HOL KK 1225 Competition for the 2025-26 academic year, encouraging students to present innovative projects relevant to everyday life. Junior students (Classes 6–8) focused on “Green Practices in Schools,” while seniors (Classes 9–10) explored “Technology for Human Progress.” Each team had four minutes for their presentation, followed by a two-minute Q&A, with evaluations based on originality, scientific understanding, data analysis, and community impact. Notably, SDM English Medium School, Ujire (CBSE) excelled, with Class 9B students Prithvi S Shetty and Thejas S Kulal winning second prize for their project on technology’s role in human progress. The event began with registration and breakfast at 8:30 am, followed by a formal inauguration at 9:45 am, and presentations starting at 10:15 am, concluding with a valedictory session at 3:30 pm. This competition fostered scientific curiosity and highlighted the importance of community solutions among youth.
