June 2: The School witnessed a vibrant and joyful start to the academic year 2025–26, as students returned after the summer break. The school campus came alive with excitement and celebration as the new academic journey began.

Dr. S. N. Kakatkar, Academic Coordinator of SDM Educational Institutions, and Mr. Dhanyakumar, Student Welfare Officer of SDM Educational Institutions, inaugurated the new academic year by lighting the ceremonial lamp. They also released the “School Diary 2025–26” and extended their best wishes to the students with inspiring words of encouragement.

To welcome the students warmly, the school was beautifully decorated with green archways and colorful paper artwork by the teachers. Various engaging activities were organized in the classrooms to make the first day memorable.A special welcome was arranged for the students entering Grade 1. They were greeted with a traditional aarti and a good wishes letter, marking a delightful beginning to their school journey.The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and positivity, setting the tone for a fruitful and enriching academic year ahead at SDM English Medium School, Ujire.
