Ujire, March 4, 2026: In observance of National Safety Week (March 4-8), School organized an enlightening awareness program on Construction Safety and Electrical Safety for its students at the ATL (Atal Tinkering Lab) on the SDM campus. The event aimed to equip young minds with essential knowledge to navigate everyday hazards confidently.The program featured two esteemed resource persons: Dr. Subrahmanya Bhat, who delivered an insightful session on Electrical Safety, highlighting risks like faulty wiring, overloads, and safe handling practices; and Dr. Vinayashyam D, who addressed Construction Safety, covering precautions around building sites, machinery, and structural hazards relevant to growing urban environments.

Coordinated seamlessly by Mrs. Suma, the academic coordinator, the event kicked off with a warm welcome by Mrs. Shanty George. Student Maanvi P served as the confident Master of Ceremony, while Rachana introduced the guests with poise. The proceedings began with a devotional prayer led by students of Class 8C, setting a reflective tone.
