14 July 2026, UJIRE— In a bid to foster leadership and democratic values among students, the school officially inaugurated its School Student Parliament for the academic year on 14 July 2026.Speaking as the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony, Dr. A. Jayakumar Shetty, retired principal of SDM Degree College, Ujire, encouraged the newly elected student representatives to maintain a high drive for excellence.

“There should always be a hunger to achieve success,” Dr.Jaya Kumar Shetty emphasized during his address. “One must learn to work both hard and intelligently to realize their true potential.”Sharing the stage was the newly elected School Parliament Leader, Master Pratyush, who accepted his role alongside the rest of the student parliament members.
