Ujire, June 5 2026: In a vibrant effort to foster ecological awareness among the younger generation, the School celebrated World Environment Day on 5 June 2026 at the school premises.

The event featured a lineup of educational activities, creative competitions, and hands-on environmental initiatives designed to instill a sense of responsibility toward the planet.Dr. Prarthana J., Head and Associate Professor of the Department of Biotechnology at SDM Postgraduate College, Ujire, attended as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Prarthana enlightened the students on the critical importance of environmental protection. She emphasized the role of biodiversity and urged the youth to adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives to combat pressing environmental challenges.
