Mangalore, January 17, 2026: Students from our school, made their mark at the prestigious Jokle Kala Chaturpu competition organized by the Tulu Academy at Tulu Bhavan in Mangalore. The event showcased young talent across various categories, including Tulu speech, Tulu Jaanapada group song, drawing, Tulu storytelling, and Tulu Jaanapada dance.

Representing their school with enthusiasm, SDM students participated in the drawing and Tulu Jaanapada group dance competitions. Their vibrant group dance performance captivated the audience and judges alike, securing an impressive third place along with a cash prize.This achievement highlights the students’ dedication to cultural arts and Tulu heritage, blending CBSE curriculum excellence with local traditions.
