The Rural IT Quiz at Capitanio School, Mangaluru, recently brought together 234 students from Classes 8, 9, and 10 in a dynamic event, aimed at fostering IT awareness and bridging the digital divide among rural and semi-urban youth. Held on 23rd, and 29th, October 2025, the initiative forms part of a wider programme originally launched by the Karnataka Department of Electronics, IT, Biotechnology, and Science & Technology in association with TCS
During the school-level event, standout performances by Master Tejas Kulal, Master Ninaad Ananth, and Prathyush from class 9 of our school , secured spots as school representatives in the District Level Rural IT Quiz, held at the same venue on 29th October. Their exceptional teamwork earned them qualification for the Zonal Level Rural IT Quiz, scheduled on 3rd November 2025 in Mysore.
