Ujire, November 14, 2025 :Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at SDM English Medium School (CBSE). The function, which took place in the Indraprastha Indoor Stadium, was a vibrant tribute to the students, organized and executed entirely by the faculty and staff to ensure a memorable day for the children.The spirit of celebration was palpable as the students were treated to a day full of fun and entertainment. The event featured a spectacular cultural program presented by the school’s teaching staff and non-teaching employees. This grand display of talent included a variety of traditional and modern performances such as the classic Yakshagana dance, energetic group dances and folk dances (Kunita), alongside devotional songs (Bhajane) and a group song. The staff also showcased their dramatic skills by staging a humorous and inspirational short skit, much to the delight of the student audience.

The celebration was formally presided over by the school Principal, ManmohanNaik K. G., and had the School SPL, Syon Raj as the Chief Guest of the event. Their presence underscored the importance of the day in fostering a nurturing and cheerful environment for the students. Adding to the professional execution of the event, Assistant Teacher Mrs.Pavithra efficiently managed the flow of the program by serving as the Master of Ceremony, ensuring smooth transitions between the numerous performances and activities.A significant part of the day was dedicated to recognizing student achievement. As a culmination of the Children’s Day celebrations, prizes were distributed to the students who had emerged as winners in the various competitions organized especially for them. The entire program was a resounding success, effectively highlighting the staff’s dedication and commitment to making the day truly special for every child in the school.
