Ujire, Nov. 1, 2025:School celebratedDeepavali, the Festival of Lights, with great enthusiasm, emphasizing the importance of traditional practices and family bonds among its students. The event was inaugurated by Engineer Yashodhar from the DharmasthalaManjunatheshwara Construction Project, who attended as the chief guest. In his address, Engineer Yashodhar stated that awareness of traditional practices is very important for students. He highlighted that Deepavali is a festival that unites all members of the family, imparting value-based words to the assembled students.
The celebration was marked by the elaborate observance of several traditional Deepavali rituals, providing students with a hands-on experience of the festival’s cultural depth. These rituals included:NarakaChaturdashi, GoPooja (Worship of cows), BalindraPooja,Lakshmi Pooja, TulasiPooja. The programme also featured lively group singing and dancing by the students. Akshay, Supervisor of the DharmasthalaManjunatheshwara Construction Project, was present as a special guest. The event was presided over by School Principal ManamohanNaikK.G.Student leaders took charge of the proceedings, showcasing their organizational skills. Chinthan brilliantly anchored the entire event, while Prithvi extended a warm welcome to the gathering, and the Mrs.SujanaValthaje delivered the vote of thanks.
