Ujire, October 17, 2025 — Aligning with the national focus on digital defense, School marked National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) by hosting a comprehensive awareness programme on cyber safety and security for its students and teachers.Observed annually in October, NCSAM 2025 is celebrated under the theme “Cyber Jagrit Bharat” (Cyber Aware India), which underscores the collective responsibility needed to safeguard the country’s growing digital ecosystem. The national objective is clear: to build a strong defensive barrier that minimizes vulnerabilities and protects systems from escalating cyber threats. The awareness programme was held at the School Assembly and aimed to equip both learners and educators with the essential knowledge of cyber security best practices.
A key highlight of the event was the proactive involvement of the students. 9th Grade students delivered a focused presentation, illustrating the crucial ‘Do’s and Don’ts’ of internet usage. Their message was reinforced through both direct instructions and informative posters, ensuring the practical lessons on secure digital habits were visually and verbally driven home. The event was graced by the Student Welfare Officer, Mr. Dhanyakumar, and his team of review committee members, along with the school’s Principal, Mr. Manamohan Naik K.G. Their presence emphasized the institution’s commitment to integrating cyber literacy into the school curriculum, recognizing that in a digitally connected world, cyber awareness is a fundamental life skill.
