Ujire, August 7, 2025: School celebrated Valmiki Jayanti, the birth anniversary of the great sage and author of the epic Ramayana, Maharishi Valmiki, on August 7, 2025. The event, held at the school campus, saw enthusiastic participation from students across standards 6th to 10th .The programme was formally presided over and inaugurated by the Principal Mr. Manamohan Naik K.G and Mrs. Shanty George, the Senior Assistant Teacher of the school by lighting the traditional lamp , symbolizing the dispelling of darkness with the light of knowledge, a theme central to Maharishi Valmiki’s teachings. The highlight of the celebration was the student-led presentations and activities designed to educate the attendees about Valmiki’s literary contribution.
Miss Anarghya, a student of the 8th standard, delivered a thoughtful speech on the significance of Valmiki Jayanti. Adding an interactive and educational element to the day, a quiz competition focused on the Ramayana and Valmiki’s life was conducted by a student from the 9th standard. The quiz engaged the audience and tested their knowledge of the epic tale. The event concluded successfully, leaving the students with a reinforced understanding of the values celebrated through Valmiki’s monumental work.
