Bharat Scouts and Guides of Beltangady held a patriotic and folk song competition on August 24th, 2025, at Vani Educational Institution. Around 300 students from Cub-Bulbuls, Scouts-Guides, and Rover-Ranger groups participated enthusiastically. The program commenced with an inauguration by Vishnu Prakash M, Principal of Vani Pre-University College, who extended his best wishes to all the participating students to showcase their talents. Pramila Poojary, Secretary of the Bharat Scouts and Guides Local Association, Beltangady, graced the occasion with their presence.

In the Geethagayana (singing) competition, the Cubs and Bulbuls from our school won first prize. Their outstanding performances earned them selection for the district-level competition.This competition showcased the talent and spirit of the young participants while promoting patriotism and folk traditions through music. The Bharat Scouts and Guides Beltangady chapter continues to encourage cultural and leadership development among youth.
