Ujire, 21st August 2025: Students brought pride to the school with outstanding performances at the AICS District Level Cross Country Race 2025, themed “Stride with Pride,” held on 21st August 2025 at Padmavathi Lawn, Dr. M Ramanna Shetty Memorial English Medium High School, Tapovana, S. Kodi, Mangalore.
In the Under-17 Senior Girls’ 4 km race, Miss Nisha, a Grade 9 student, showcased commendable endurance and determination to secure the second place. Meanwhile, in the Under-14 Junior Girls’ 3 km race, Miss Trisha R, a Grade 8 student, demonstrated grit and consistency to clinch the third place. The valedictory ceremony was graced by Smt. Najma Farooqui, KSPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic Sub-Division, Mangaluru City Police), who lauded the participants for their determination, discipline, and sportsmanship. Presiding over the event, Sri A. Yogeesh Hegde, Director – CMD, Nitte Campus, commended the collective efforts of the students, staff, and organizers that made the championship a resounding success.The exceptional achievements of Miss Nisha and Miss Trisha R stand as an inspiration to their peers, emphasizing the values of perseverance, dedication, and excellence in sports.
