July 10, 2025: A comprehensive Fire & Safety Training was held at SDM Degree College, Ujire, bringing together staff from various institutions under the Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational Society®, Ujire Hosted by our School. The training was led by Mr. Dhanya Kumar, Student Welfare Officer for all SDM schools, in collaboration with the Karnataka Fire and Emergency Services Department. The event was attended by Dr. Vishwanath P, Principal of SDM Degree College, and Mr. Manamohan Naik K G, Principal of SDM English Medium School. Sri K. P. Zulfikar Nawaz, District Fire Officer, was the Chief Guest. He conducted practical demonstrations and discussions on fire prevention and emergency response, supported by Mr. Venkatesh Huccharaddy and Mr. Praveen from the fire services. The program emphasized proactive safety measures and the use of fire safety equipments, fostering a culture of preparedness. Participants appreciated the practical insights and committed to prioritizing safety, reflecting the SDM Society’s dedication to community protection through education and prevention.
