May 26: A one-day workshop on “Technology in Teaching” was successfully conducted at Computer Lab, SDM Degree College,  Ujire aimed at equipping teachers with modern digital tools to enhance classroom instruction. The session was led by Mr. Sathishchandra P. D., from the Department of Computer Science, SDM Degree College, Ujire.

During the workshop, Mr. Sathishchandra effectively demonstrated the preparation of impactful PowerPoint presentations and introduced teachers to a variety of Artificial Intelligence tools that can support lesson planning, assessment, and student engagement. His practical insights and hands-on guidance were highly appreciated by all participants.

Mr. Dhanyakumar, Students Welfare Officer, was present on the occasion. The programme was anchored by Mrs. Neethu Prasad. Feedback on the workshop was shared by teachers Mrs. Madhura, Mrs. Sudarshini, and Mrs. Veena, who expressed gratitude for the valuable inputs and called the session both enlightening and inspiring. The initiative reflects the institution’s ongoing commitment to empower educators with relevant skills and ensure a future-ready learning environment for students.
